This is a list of Sioux scouts who enlisted into the U.S. Army between the years 1878 and 1892 gathered from the National Archives "Register of Enlisted Men in the United States Army, 1798-1914, Volumes 152-154: Indian Scouts." This collection contains lists of Lakota and Dakota full and mixed-blood men who enlisted as Army scouts at the following agencies: Pine Ridge, (Red Cloud Agency), Spotted Tail Agency, Dakota Territory, Fort Sisseton, Cheyenne River Agency, Fort Sully, Standing Rock, and Fort Bennett.
