Parade shots include Ben Black Elk in buckskins and war bonnet, truncated versions of the war and kettle dance, as well as a fancy dancer. Footage also includes a Sioux dog feast held in 1942 by Chief Roan Bear at the Cheyenne River Agency, South Dakota, showing preparation of the shunka (dog) accompanied by cooking of buffalo meat, tipsina, radishes, and other vegetables.
